Celestial Alignment focuses on nostalgia, longing and fragile feelings. Rooted in Helsinki, Finland, you can hear the “scandi” vibe in most of the tunes that combine melancholy with beauty and inspiration. Often minimalistic and “empty”, the tunes usually focus on simple electric guitar layers that are combined with atmospheric synth layers, felted piano and laid back beats. The music is influenced by teenage years and new wave / gothic artists such as Joy Division, The Cure and Bauhaus and also Japanese anime classics from Studio Ghibli studios. The man behind the project also likes to compose other styles as well and you can find his alter ego projects under such artist monikers as Celestial Aeon Project, Frozen Silence and Celestial Conscience to name a few.
