Rook1e is a twenty-year old Asian-American music producer from Portland, Oregon. The story of how he started making music began with a video he stumbled across on social media of another lofi artist performing a beat live, and from there it instantly became a passion. He would best describe his sound as “soft beats inspired by love” – often drawing inspiration from simply experiencing life and love as it happens in the moment. He thanks his favorite movie of all-time, La La Land, jazz legends like Bill Evans, and Korean soundtracks for shaping his style and expressiveness as a producer
