Project AER was started in March 2019 by UK-based Producer Alex Reade as a testing ground for figuring out where to go next.
Releasing various singles that same year, it wasn't until February 2020's 'i had an existential crisis' that Project AER started to find it's feet sonically. Written in December 2019, that EP set out the groundwork for Project AER's way of constructing narratives in instrumental form, and has remained a key pillar of Alex's sound and approach.
From first falling in love with music through a Secondary School discovery of Emo, Rock & Punk, to picking up a guitar a year later, Alex has released music under countless other aliases as far back as 2011.
Having experimented in genres such as Ambient, Post-Rock, Pop, Electronic & EDM, Alex has used that experience to build and define Project AER's blend of ambience and guitar-driven beats.
