Welcome to the Lofi World ecosystem. This Policy explains how Lofi Records SAS and its affiliates, including Lofi Girl, Lofi Studio, Lofi Merch, Lofi Gaming, and Lofi YT, protect the Lofi Girl creative universe and all associated intellectual property, characters, artworks, music and trademarks.
The name “Lofi Girl” and all related assets are protected under copyright, trademark and international intellectual property laws.
This AI Policy describes our commitment to human-made creativity and outlines what is permitted and what is not when it comes to AI-generated or AI-assisted content involving the Lofi Girl brand. At Lofi Girl, everything we create is made by humans for humans.
For the purposes of this Policy, “AI-generated content” refers to any image, audio, video, animation, text, or asset that has been created, altered, upscaled, or generated in whole or in part through artificial intelligence tools, including generative models, diffusion models, style-transfer systems, or any automated technology trained on third-party datasets. “AI-assisted content” refers to any work in which AI contributes to composition, rendering, upscaling, editing, or stylistic imitation.
We do not use AI in the creation of artworks, animations or music. We may, however, use AI for non-creative purposes such as internal security, spam detection, moderation support, or analytics. These tools are never used to produce, modify, or influence creative assets.
This page outlines our position against the use of AI-generated materials within the Lofi World ecosystem.

🧠 Creative integrity
We consider the use of any AI-generated content involving our name, characters, or visual identity to be a violation of our creative ethics and intellectual property.
Any dataset or output containing elements derived from Lofi Girl, Mochi, or any related work is considered unauthorized reproduction, and may result in legal action.
Why this matters. The use of AI-generated material involving our brand creates risks of dilution of our intellectual property, unauthorized imitation of our style, and commercial or artistic confusion. It may also generate deepfake content that misrepresents our characters or music, harms our community’s trust, and undermines the values that define the Lofi Girl universe. Protecting human-made creativity is essential to preserving the emotional and artistic identity that our audience expects.This includes AI-generated avatars or profile images that resemble or recreate Lofi Girl or her associated characters.
Allowed: Personal, non-commercial creations that are 100% human-made are allowed when they respect our intellectual property. This includes commentary or critique using short, unmodified excerpts, parodies that do not imitate our artistic style or characters, and artworks inspired by our general themes without reproducing or mimicking our characters, settings, visuals, or assets.
Prohibited: The following uses are strictly prohibited, as they create risks of confusion, dilution of our intellectual property, and unauthorized imitation of the Lofi Girl universe:
using AI to imitate, reproduce, or generate content “in the style of” Lofi Girl, including visual look-alikes, sound-alikes, or stylistic imitations;
training, feeding, or fine-tuning AI models with our music, illustrations, animations, videos, characters, or any element of the Lofi Girl universe;
creating derivative works, characters, visuals, narratives, compositions, or animations using AI that resemble or derive from our assets;
scraping or collecting our content for dataset creation, training, modelling or embeddings;
uploading or distributing AI-generated content that imitates our brand, implies affiliation, or creates a likelihood of confusion;
generating, using, or distributing deepfake content involving our characters, aesthetic identity, voice identity, or settings.
The name “Lofi Girl”, as well as associated trademarks, characters, logos and visual identity, may not be reproduced, referenced, or imitated through AI systems in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or that creates confusion regarding origin. AI tools must not be used to create usernames, project titles, video content, or artwork that appear official or authorised by Lofi Records or its affiliates.
Any dataset, embedding, model weight, or training output containing elements derived from the Lofi Girl universe, whether extracted manually, scraped, or generated, is considered an unauthorized reproduction under intellectual property law.
If you submit content (fan art, suggestions, visuals, music), it must be 100% human-made.
No AI-generated components are allowed.
By submitting content, you grant Lofi Records SAS and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, repost, communicate, adapt, and showcase your submission on our platforms and social channels for community purposes, always with attribution where appropriate. This licence does not transfer ownership and can be revoked at any time by written request, except for materials already published or referenced in community posts.
Submissions containing AI-generated or AI-assisted elements will be rejected, removed, or not featured. We reserve the right to determine whether a submission contains AI-generated elements based on visual, stylistic, or technical indicators.
Lofi Records reserves the right to take legal or technical action against:
Individuals or organizations using AI to reproduce, imitate, or derive from our content
Any attempt to train or enhance AI models using our assets
Platforms hosting AI-generated plagiarized content of our brand
If a violation is detected, we may take immediate action, which can include content removal, copyright notices, takedown requests submitted to hosting platforms, account restrictions on community spaces we operate, or formal legal action in cases of repeated or harmful misuse. The specific action taken will depend on the severity of the infringement and its impact on our intellectual property, brand integrity, and community safety. Violations may result in legal prosecution under French and international IP laws.
